Rangers + Wranglers started as a group chat in 2012 and was used to organize backpacking and camping trips amongst a small group of friends.

The group decided to make the Rangers + Wranglers group more inclusive and begin organizing outdoor adventures for anyone with that Ranger spirit.

Today, Rangers + Wranglers is an Adventure-Share company that leverages a network of experienced outdoors-people to create unique, and unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Yes. There is no charge to join Rangers + Wranglers.  Joining Rangers + Wranglers allows you access to the community of likeminded outdoor enthusiasts, our monthly giveaways, and the Ranger Badge Sticker.

Rangers + Wranglers will you use your email address to send a monthly email with useful information like upcoming adventures, giveaway prizes, and noteworthy news.

Your mailing address is strictly used to mail giveaway prizes and your Ranger Badge Sticker.

Some Ranger + Wrangler events are hosted by experienced outdoors-people, some by third-party affiliates, and others are group adventures hosted by Rangers + Wranglers ourselves. Whatever you’re interested in, you’ll find those activities on the Find Your Adventure page.

While outdoor activities come with inherent risks, your safety on all Rangers + Wranglers activities is our first priority. Our Wrangler guides are carefully chosen, and thoroughly vetted to verify expertise in addition to regular safety and compliance checks.

Per any outdoor activity situation, you should never perform an activity that you’re uncertain of your safety.

You can register as a Wrangler on the Host an Adventure page. In registering, you’ll share a bio, activity expertise, what you want to charge for your activity, and photos of your past adventures that users can use to choose whether to book your activity or not.

Each registration is reviewed, and if it is accepted, your Activity Profile will appear on the Find Your Adventure page.

Wranglers are paid by Rangers + Wranglers – not by the user themselves – after a successful activity is completed.

If your Wrangler registration is accepted, you’ll be contacted by a live Rangers + Wranglers representative to setup your payment details.

Rangers + Wranglers currently supports Venmo and Paypal payment methods.

Of course. As a Wrangler, you should create individual Activity Profiles for each of your desired hosted activities.
